Split hair

I am not sure how many people have seen this one: a thread of hair with 6 split ends. Seconds after I held it with my fingers, it fell apart and became three separate threads, one of them with four split ends. This one was scarier than those few times I had my own thick, sharp hair poked into my fingers.
