Treating myself this Thanksgiving

I just made the order from TechForLess.com today. This item has been discontinued at Office Depot. I am excited about its capability to shred staples, credit cards, and even small paper clips. Much anticipated.

It arrived on Monday. Only then I noticed that I ordered the strip-cut model, rathan than its confetti-cut sibling (OD1200C). I learned that it was way more powerful than the miniture shredder I have been using for years. And the new one does shred credit cards without a problem. The only issue I have encountered so far is that it can get full quite easily. And when it's full, it refuses to take in more paper. When it happened, I thought it was a paper jam, as I have stuck in many pages of paper at that time. But everything got back to normal after I cleaned out the bin. Lastly, this thing is not light, at least not as light as I would expect. My old (working) shredder can finally retire. I wouldn't minding give it away for free.
