RE: Don't be late! -- Mui Mui's World

I couldn't agree more with you. Essentially lack of punctuality implies lack of respect. I like much the way you described making a time to meet--it's a *promise*. Punctuality is a life style. And the lack of it is like a form of sickness, or a kind of deficiency or even corruption in personality. It shows one's ability (or inability) to make sound judgements, like a blind spot in one's field of vision, one's defunct value of life. It could be something that came with birth or something developed from one's character or environment. I wouldn't deny having this deficiency/sickness/bad habit. To me, it's a constant struggle to clear the path of excuses that suggest me to squeeze the most from every available moment while overlooking the people to meet. And it's a constant struggle to stay focused to address either my incapability to make sound judgements, or my defunct value of or priority in life, or a cognitive short-sightedness if you will. It appears to me that I can easily slide back down should I be slightly distracted from facing the problem head-on. Mui Mui, any good advice on ridding of the bad habit?
